Who We Are
BLINK Cincinnati is a four-day, 30-block outdoor art experience uniting street art, projection mapping, murals, and light-based installations. A Picture's Worth (APW) is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit dedicated to ethical, trauma-informed storygathering. We are partnering to create the Blink-Shot audio layer — short artist introductions accessible to every visitor, especially those who are blind or have low vision.
What You're Agreeing To
By submitting your Blink-Shot, you are granting BLINK Cincinnati and A Picture's Worth permission to use your audio recording, headshot, and identifying information (name, mural title) in connection with the Blink-Shot audio project.
Your Blink-Shot may be used in: audio delivered via NFC tokens at your mural during the BLINK festival, BLINK's website and social media, festival programming, printed and digital materials, and APW's storytelling work.
About Editing
We may lightly edit your audio for clarity — trimming pauses or removing background noise. We will never alter the substance or meaning of what you said.
What We Will Never Do
We will never sell your Blink-Shot or personal information to third parties. We will never use your recording to train AI models. We will never use your Blink-Shot in a context that misrepresents your intent. We will never share your full contact information (email, phone) publicly.
Your Rights
You retain ownership of your Blink-Shot. You may request removal at any time by contacting elissa@apicturesworth.org. Removal requests are honored within 30 days, except where materials have already been printed or distributed.
How We Store Your Data
Your audio recording, headshot, and contact information are encrypted in transit and at rest. Only authorized APW and BLINK Cincinnati staff have access to your submission. We follow best practices for data protection.
Trauma-Informed Approach
APW practices trauma-informed storygathering. You are never required to share more than you are comfortable with. You may stop your recording at any time.
